Updates to Binance’s Zero-Fee Trading for JPY Spot Pairs and Introduction of VIP Program

Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has made significant updates to its zero-fee trading promotion for JPY spot trading pairs. Effective June 25, 2024, standard maker and taker fees will be reintroduced for these trading pairs, marking a shift in the fee structure for users.

This change will impact all users trading JPY spot pairs on Binance, who will now need to refer to the updated spot and margin trading fee structure for detailed information on applicable fees. Furthermore, the trading volume of these pairs will now count towards users’ VIP tier volume calculations and all Liquidity Provider programs where applicable.

In addition to the fee adjustments, Binance Japan will also be launching a VIP Program tailored to the needs of local users. Starting on the same date, users in Japan can qualify for VIP levels 1-4, unlocking more rewards and benefits as part of the Binance Japan VIP Program.

These strategic adjustments come as part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to provide users with the most value and competitive services. By reintroducing standard fees and introducing a localized VIP program, Binance aims to better serve its user base in Japan while maintaining a competitive edge in the global cryptocurrency market.

It is important to note that Binance reserves the right to amend or cancel these announcements at any time without prior notice. The company also emphasizes the importance of understanding the risks associated with digital asset trading, as prices are subject to high market risk and volatility.

Overall, these updates signify a significant shift in Binance’s fee structure and offerings, aiming to enhance the trading experience for users while staying competitive in the ever-evolving cryptocurrency market.
