Sui Partners with Korea Blockchain Week for Web3 Excellence

Sui, the layer-1 blockchain and smart contract platform developed by Mysten Labs, has made significant strides this year with new partnerships and product launches. The latest development sees Sui teaming up with Korea Blockchain Week to drive Web3 excellence.

Korea Blockchain Week announced Sui as the official conference partner for the upcoming Web3 gathering, scheduled from September 1st to 7th. This partnership aims to advance blockchain technology in Asia and globally, with a focus on exploring the convergence of Web2 and Web3 technologies, regulatory landscapes, and institutional adoption strategies.

In addition to Sui, other major firms like Tron, Aptos Foundation, Ripple, Orbs, and Flare Network have also joined as sponsors for the event. The conference will feature industry leaders and innovators, including Binance CEO Richard Teng and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, as speakers.

Furthermore, Sui recently unveiled its native protocol, SuiBridge, designed to facilitate seamless asset transfers within the Sui ecosystem. The bridge supports the transfer of major assets like ETH, wBTC, USDC, and USDT with high-speed capabilities and enhanced security.

To support the testing of SuiBridge, the community has been invited to actively engage with the protocol on the test net, with opportunities to earn rewards of up to 100,000 SUI. This initiative aims to enhance interoperability between Sui and Ethereum, offering users fast transaction speeds, low costs, and a decentralized architecture.

Sui’s collaboration with Korea Blockchain Week and the launch of SuiBridge highlight the platform’s commitment to advancing the Web3 ecosystem and building a scalable, secure, and interconnected blockchain infrastructure.
