The financial world was rocked this week as two major banks, Wells Fargo and JP Morgan Chase, disclosed their holdings in Bitcoin exchange traded funds (ETFs). Wells Fargo, the third largest bank in the United States, revealed that it holds $143,111 in shares of various Bitcoin ETFs. This disclosure was followed by JP Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the U.S., revealing that it holds about $1.2 million in ETF shares, despite CEO Jamie Dimon’s public criticism of cryptocurrency.

The allegations claimed that DWF Labs engaged in market manipulation, wash trading, and inflated trading volumes with $300 million in question. Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump made headlines with his gala dinner for his “Mugshot” NFT holders. Trump made several memorable quotes during the event, including vowing to provide a better regulatory environment for crypto businesses and entrepreneurs. He also claimed credit for making NFTs popular again and expressed his disdain for the Joe Biden-linked meme coin, Jeo Boden.
