Eluvio’s Blockchain Content Fabric Revolutionizes Streaming Security at Content Protection Summit

Eluvio, a leading technology company, made waves at the Content Protection Summit (CPS) @ NAB 2024 in Las Vegas on April 13th with its groundbreaking Blockchain Content Fabric. Serban Simu, president and co-founder of Eluvio, showcased how this innovative solution is reshaping the streaming sector by providing unparalleled security and transparency.

During the session titled “Using Blockchain Fabric to Securely Deliver Streaming Content,” Simu delved into the capabilities of the Eluvio Content Fabric, describing it as a global-scale media distribution platform that replaces traditional file-based protocols. He emphasized how the Content Fabric builds content-specific protocols on top of basic transactions and signatures, ensuring secure delivery of streaming assets.

Simu also discussed the importance of content distribution security in both traditional pipeline content delivery networks (CDNs) and the Content Fabric. He highlighted the Content Fabric’s ability to standardize content distribution infrastructure, simplifying the process and enhancing security.

In addition to its security features, Eluvio’s Blockchain Content Fabric enables direct sell-through, engagement, and streaming of premium video directly from publishers to consumers. The platform serves as a utility blockchain network for owner-controlled storage, distribution, and monetization of digital content at scale, eliminating the need for costly third-party cloud storage and transcoding services.

At NAB 2024, Eluvio unveiled the new Casablanca release and Creator Studio, Content Analytics, and AI Content Understanding apps built on the Content Fabric. The Casablanca release extends the platform with provable mass-scale performance and low-latency adaptive bitrate streaming for live and video-on-demand content.

Overall, Eluvio’s Blockchain Content Fabric is revolutionizing the streaming sector by providing a secure, transparent, and cost-efficient solution for content distribution. The company’s presence at CPS @ NAB 2024 underscored its commitment to innovation and excellence in the industry.

The Content Protection Summit was presented by Fortinet and sponsored by leading technology companies, including AMD, Convergent, Digital Silence, NAGRA, Prime Focus Technologies, Eluvio, and EIDR, in association with the NAB Show. The event was produced by MESA and the CDSA, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the latest advancements in content protection and security.
