The Los Angeles Sparks are making big moves in response to the surging popularity of women’s basketball. With sold-out arenas and record-high TV ratings, the team announced that three of their home games, including a showdown against the Indiana Fever featuring the top two picks in the WNBA draft, will be moved to Crypto.com Arena.

Center Cameron Brink, the No. 2 pick in the draft, is looking forward to facing off against her friend and No. 1 pick Caitlin Clark. Brink believes the game could be a sellout, showcasing the growing interest in women’s basketball.

Sparks coach Curt Miller echoed Brink’s sentiments, expressing excitement about the potential for sold-out arenas every night. The move to Crypto.com Arena, with a capacity of about 19,000, allows for more fans to experience the excitement of women’s basketball.

In addition to the game against the Fever, the Sparks will also play their next two home games at Crypto.com Arena, further highlighting the growing popularity of the sport. Single-game tickets for these matchups go on sale to the general public on Thursday at 8 a.m.

The anticipation is high for the matchup between the Sparks and the Fever, with Brink emphasizing the need to pay close attention to key players like Clark and Aliyah Boston. As the excitement builds, fans can expect a thrilling game between two top teams in the WNBA.

Overall, the move to Crypto.com Arena signifies the increasing interest and support for women’s basketball, with the Sparks leading the way in showcasing the talent and excitement of the sport.
